Eleri Earnshaw is in her 4th season as Assistant Coach with Angel City FC.
She has coached a the professional, amateur, collegiate, and youth levels for 16 years. Prior to joining Angel City, Earnshaw coached NCAA D1 soccer as Acting Head Coach for Fordham University, Head Coach of LIU Brooklyn, and Assistant Coach at Yale University. Earnshaw led the NJ/NY Gotham FC Reserves team to an undefeated season and WPSL Conference Championship in 2021, garnering Coach of the Year honors. Five players from that roster went on to play professionally in the NWSL.
Earnshaw represented the Welsh National Team at both the senior and youth levels and played professionally for Arsenal, winning a domestic double in 2003/04.
She was also a three-year captain at Iona College under then-Head Coach Emma Hayes, earning two-time All-MAAC First Team honors.
She holds UEFA A and UEFA B licenses (Adult & Youth) through the Football Association of Wales.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Psychology with a focus on high performance environments, having already completed an MS in Exercise Physiology.
A native of Rhyl, Wales, Earnshaw holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and U.K.
